I'm looking for a Linux-based gradebook for next school year. ( never make such a change mid-year.)
What I currently use is Easy Grade Pro because my school has a site license, it runs on the Mac provided for me as well as the various windows machines that have passed through my hands. At this point, I'm dumping windows. Easy Grade Pro runs (sort of) under Wine. It does have one feature I really need, and that's the ability to generate a login page and student grade pages I can upload to a server so parents can access grades online. Does your program offer any such feature?
